# Use Cool Computers with Claude

> Connect Cool Computers from Claude's connector directory, then ask it for a page.

## Add the connector

1. Open **Customize**, then **Connectors**, in claude.ai or the Claude desktop app.
2. Choose **Discover** and search for Cool Computers.
3. Open Cool Computers and choose **Connect to Claude**.
4. Sign in to Cool Computers, or sign up.

To use Cool Computers in a chat, choose **+** in the message box, then **Connectors**, and turn Cool Computers on.

> The Cool Computers plugin adds the connector and the [`cool-computers` skill](https://cool.computer/docs/agents/overview#teach-your-agent). Open **Customize**, then **Plugins**, choose **Discover**, search for Cool Computers and choose **Add**. Then open the plugin's **Connectors** tab and connect Cool Computers.

> With plugin sync on, Claude Code 2.1.273 or later loads the plugin when it starts, if you're signed in with the same Claude account.

> An Owner or Primary Owner opens **Organization settings**, **Connectors**, chooses **Browse connectors**, selects Cool Computers and chooses **Add to your team**. Until then, members can choose **Request** on Cool Computers in the directory when connector requests are on.

> Each member then chooses **Connect** in **Customize**, **Connectors** and signs in to Cool Computers for themselves.

> 1. Open **Customize**, then **Connectors**.
> 2. Choose **Add**, hover over **Custom**, then choose **Web**.
> 3. Name it Cool Computers, enter `https://api.cool.computer/mcp` and choose **Continue**.
> 4. Review the authentication Claude detected and choose **Continue**. If Claude asks how people sign in, choose **Sign in now**, and keep **Use Claude's published identity** as the OAuth client.
> 5. Choose **Add**, then sign in to Cool Computers, or sign up.

> On a Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner adds it from **Organization settings**, **Connectors**, **Add**, **Custom**, **Web**. ## Paste this

In a new chat, ask:

```

Claude publishes the page with the connector and gives you its link.

## Check it works

Ask Claude:

List my Cool Computers sites and computers. Don't change anything.
```

It answers with your list. If it doesn't, open **Customize**, **Connectors** and choose **Connect** on Cool Computers.
