You can open the account dashboard without installing the Cool Computers CLI:

First connection

OpenSSH proves your selected public key. Cool Computers then asks for your email address and a six-digit code. After verification, later connections with that key open the dashboard directly. The SSH username is ignored.

Verify the host

Compare the Ed25519 fingerprint before accepting the host key:

Choose a key

Select one identity if OpenSSH has several available:
Create an Ed25519 key with ssh-keygen -t ed25519 if you do not have one.

Limits of this endpoint

ssh cool.computer opens the account dashboard. The endpoint does not accept remote commands, file transfer, or forwarding. Use cool enter name or cool ssh name to work inside a computer. The cool.computer SSH endpoint is currently IPv4-only.
