Paste this prompt into Gemini CLI:
Gemini CLI installs cool and puts a welcome page online. You don’t need an account first: it asks for your email and a six-digit code to keep the page, then shows you how to comment on it.

Connect it yourself

Install the Cool Computers extension, listed in the Gemini CLI extensions gallery. It adds the MCP server and the cool-computers skill. From your shell:
Restart Gemini CLI, then run /mcp auth cool-computers to sign in, or sign up. /extensions list shows the extension.

MCP server only

Or add it to ~/.gemini/settings.json. Streamable HTTP servers take httpUrl:
Then run /mcp auth cool-computers to sign in. With an API key, add "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer $COOL_API_KEY" } beside httpUrl instead. Gemini CLI fills in the variable from your environment; Other MCP clients shows how to create one.

Check it works

Ask Gemini CLI:
It answers with your list. If you added the MCP server and it doesn’t, run /mcp to see the server’s state.
