}Read document editing access and live version
Reads the live artifact.json of a document artifact. Public documents allow signed-out reads; private documents require the owner or an active share member. Returns the immutable computer_id, can_save, opaque version and, when read-only, reason signed_out, read_only or not_document. Works when comments are off. A live release without a valid document declaration remains readable with can_save false and its current version. Poll every 20 seconds while visible and on visibility return or focus. With since equal to the current version and access confirmed for this session within two minutes, returns the complete cached can_save, reason and version answer; public polls do not consult sharing or decode the manifest. Apply can_save and reason in every window, even when the version is unchanged. The version describes the live release, not the bytes already loaded: keep the release that supplied those bytes as the save base and reload matching document files before adopting a different version. The document layer revokes access on 401, 403 or 404; other failed reads retain the previous access. Once the site has a VM, full reads and version polls return 200 with can_save false, reason read_only and the retained release version, overriding cached editing rights. Browser sessions and account bearer tokens are accepted. Authenticated document requests use the existing account read or mutation rate budget; signed-out reads remain limited per source IP.

}Authorizations
A Cool Computers API key, user access token, or claimed agent access token in the Authorization header. Follow https://www.cool.computer/auth.md for agent registration and https://www.cool.computer/authentication.md for direct user credentials.
Path Parameters
The computer's name, such as agent-atlas, or its id (cmp_…). Every caller may use either, the computer's own runtime token included.
1"agent-atlas"
Query Parameters
Last access version. An unchanged public version with access confirmed for this session within two minutes returns the complete cached access answer without artifact or sharing reads; apply can_save and reason in every window.
